Bristol based, creative gift and greeting cards business, Eggnogg has received the accolade of winning the award for ‘Best Innovation in Print / Message / Design’ in the Supreme Innovation & Design Award 2014 for their NEW Colour-in Kit Bag.

Staving off stiff competition from the likes of London Fashion Week, Debenhams, Bombay Sapphire, Bare Minerals and River Island, Eggnogg’s Colour-in Kit Bag eggcelled, receiving a unanimous vote from the panel of judges.  The latest addition to their range of textile colour-in products, the innovative organic cotton drawstring bag enables children to personalise their bag with a rainbow of colours to brighten up P.E., swimming lessons or sleepovers!

 

The Supreme Innovation & Design Awards celebrate the best in design and impact, by top global brands through sustainable bags, gifts with purchase and packaging.

 

The Indian themed summer awards party was hosted in London’s Royal Automobile Club on 23 June and brought together CEOs and Marketing Directors from top global brands, to celebrate their innovations.  A judging panel comprised five esteemed business men and women including: John Miln (CEO UK Fashion & Textile Association), Jackie Cooper (Global Chair, Creative Strategy Edelman), Karl-Heinz Müller (President, Bread & Butter), Nadja Swarovski (Member of theSwarovski  Executive Board), and Richard Woolley (Studio Director, Design Research – Land Rover).

Commenting on the award, Eggnogg’s founder, Kate Edmunds says: ‘Sustainability is important to us and is embedded in our ethos. To be recognised by Supreme Creations, a leader in sourcing ethically produced, sustainable products is an honour indeed – we’re thrilled to have received such recognition and would like to thank Supreme Creations for our nomination and their hard work in bringing Kate’s latest Eggnogg creation to life!’

About Eggnogg – Former TV graphic designer, Kate Edmunds, became a full-time illustrator after the birth of her children.  Greatly influenced by Tim Burton, Kate has always loved writing and illustrating her own children’s stories, conjuring up weird and wonderful characters.  Her love of textiles is a bit of an obsession which she also incorporates into her designs.  Eggnogg has grown from developing a range of greeting cards to keeping little people busy with a unique range of colour-in products.  The products bring a fresh approach to colouring that both children and adults adore.  The bold designs help challenge the senses and stimulate the imagination, offering a perfect solution to calming the rowdiest of children!
